About Intellecta

Intellecta is a free, AI-assisted practice platform for people preparing for IELTS and TOEFL. It exists because exam preparation has an uneven access problem: the feedback that improves Writing and Speaking fastest is the part that normally costs the most and is hardest to get regularly.

What Intellecta does

• Four-skill practice. Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking practice for both IELTS and TOEFL, with unlimited random objective-test sessions.
• Writing feedback. Separate checkers for IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2, and for TOEFL writing tasks, so feedback follows the requirements of the specific task.
• Speaking practice rooms. Timed prompts across all three IELTS Speaking parts, with feedback on fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
• Study planning. Personalised roadmaps built from your target band or score, exam date, weak areas, and available study time.
• Review tools. A mistake notebook that collects your recurring errors, plus flashcards with spaced repetition.
• Free guides. Written explanations of the techniques the tools help you practise.

What Intellecta is not

Intellecta is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the organisations that own or administer IELTS or TOEFL, and it does not issue official scores. Practice accuracy figures and any band estimates in AI feedback are study indicators, produced to help you see where to focus. Only an official test can award a real band score.

Our practice sets are original material written for skill practice. They are modelled on published exam formats but are not reproductions of past papers.

How the feedback works

Objective Reading and Listening answers are checked against verified local answer keys, so results are the same every time and do not depend on a language model. Writing and Speaking feedback is generated by a large language model prompted with the published assessment criteria, then presented for you to review rather than accept. Access

Core practice works without an account. Guest progress is saved on the device you are using; signing in keeps your attempts, feedback, roadmaps, mistakes, and flashcards with your account across devices.
